ALIWA Fellow (Class VI – Nkyinkyim) Dr. Zanetor Agyeman-Rawlings has been elected Second Vice President of the Pan-African Parliament, securing a decisive victory with 131 votes. Her election to the leadership of the African Union’s legislative body marks a significant milestone for Ghana’s representation in continental governance.
As a member of the Parliament’s Bureau, Zanetor will help guide the institution’s legislative and advisory work, advancing efforts to promote African integration, democratic governance, and regional cooperation.
