Zanetor Agyeman-Rawlings Elected Second Vice President of the Pan-African Parliament

ALIWA Fellow (Class VI – Nkyinkyim) Dr. Zanetor Agyeman-Rawlings has been elected Second Vice President of the Pan-African Parliament, securing a decisive victory with 131 votes. Her election to the leadership of the African Union’s legislative body marks a significant milestone for Ghana’s representation in continental governance.

As a member of the Parliament’s Bureau, Zanetor will help guide the institution’s legislative and advisory work, advancing efforts to promote African integration, democratic governance, and regional cooperation. The appointment further underscores her growing influence in shaping policy dialogue and parliamentary diplomacy across the continent.
