ALIWA Fellow (Class V – Karfi Kuo) Tokunboh George-Taylor is helping shape the next generation of African communicators through the SKOT Impact Academy, which plans to provide tuition-free training to more than 200 early-career communications professionals in 2026.
Designed to bridge the gap between theory and practice, the six-week programme equips participants with practical skills in storytelling, strategy, reputation management, and emerging technologies. Following strong demand, with over 500 applications received for its second cohort, the Academy has expanded its hybrid model to reach professionals across Africa and beyond, reinforcing its commitment to building a more inclusive and globally competitive communications ecosystem.
