ALIWA Fellow (Class III – Sankofa) Professor Fabian Ajogwu unveiled his latest book, The Purpose of the Corporation, at the 2026 KENNA Public Lecture hosted by Lagos Business School.
Addressing an audience of scholars, business leaders, legal practitioners, and policymakers, Fabian argued that corporate purpose must move beyond aspirational statements and be embedded in governance, strategy, and decision-making. The lecture sparked important conversations on the role of corporations in advancing societal impact in Africa, reinforcing the importance of values-based leadership, strong institutions, and responsible corporate governance in building trust and driving sustainable development.
