Constance Swaniker Advances Vision for Africa’s Future Workforce

ALIWA Class VI Fellow (Nkyinyim) Constance Swaniker is advancing her vision for industry-led skills development through the Design and Technology Institute’s (DTI) new US$28 million Berekuso Multi-Skills Campus in Ghana.

Designed as a Pan-African centre of excellence for workforce development, the campus will train up to 3,500 learners annually and equip 50,000 young people with industry-relevant skills over the next three years. The investment reflects Constance’s longstanding commitment to bridging Africa’s skills gap and preparing young people to thrive in an economy increasingly shaped by automation, artificial intelligence, and digitalisation.
